About
Skilled…Passionate…Dedicated
As an experienced, knowledgeable, and caring attorney, I am committed to serving as a trusted advocate for my client’s best interests while providing them with valuable legal advice and services. I became a lawyer to be of service by helping people protect themselves, their families, and their businesses through estate planning and business law.
As important as our legal system is, I understand that it can seem complex, overwhelming, and intimidating for most individuals faced with a legal issue. My approach is to ask questions with compassion, listen closely to hear your needs, then explain everything in a simple, straightforward manner without all the confusing legal jargon…so you can fully understand the process from the start to finish.
What’s more, when you walk into my office or meet with me online, I will treat you as a friend from the very beginning. That’s because I prefer to do business by building lifelong relationships with clients, rather than engaging in short-term transactions.
In fact, I am known among my clients as the best trust attorney and elder estate attorney in Santa Barbara for people of all ages and life circumstances. That’s because I make the entire estate planning and settlement process as comfortable and enjoyable as possible—from young families setting up a trust in California to estate planning for elderly parents and everyone in between. There is honestly no greater fulfillment for me than seeing a client smile and breathe a sigh of relief when all the paperwork has been completed and signed.
I received my Juris Doctor degree from Santa Barbara Colleges of Law School in Santa Barbara, CA and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I am an active member of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Santa Barbara Women Lawyers. I have served on the Board of Directors of Santa Barbara Women Lawyers and Santa Barbara Women Lawyers Foundation and have also volunteered at the Public Defender’s office in Santa Barbara and at California Rural Legal Assistance, which provides free legal assistance to low-income families. Now, as the mother of two young kids, when I’m not at the office, I am usually hiking, cooking traditional Indian dishes, and spending cherished time with my family.
